Masai Mara
Open grassland that runs to the horizon and the densest big-cat population in East Africa. From July the plains fill with the migration herds.

Amboseli
Big-tusked elephant families crossing dry lake bed under Kilimanjaro. The most photographed elephants on the continent, and deservedly so.

Lake Nakuru
A fenced, compact Rift Valley park with a rhino sanctuary, flamingo shorelines and yellow-bark acacia forest, three hours from Nairobi.

Rift Valley
Lake Naivasha
Freshwater lake ringed by fever trees and flower farms. Boat safaris, hippo pods, and the walking country of Crescent Island and Hell's Gate.

Tsavo East & West
Kenya's largest wilderness. Red dust, baobabs, lava flows and the Mzima Springs, with a fraction of the vehicles you meet elsewhere.

Nairobi National Park
Rhino, lion and giraffe grazing against a city skyline. The only national park of its kind, and twenty minutes from the CBD.
