Resident Rates Explained

Who qualifies, what documents to carry, and how much a Kenyan resident actually saves on park fees and camp rates.

Kenyan citizens and holders of a valid work or dependant pass pay resident park fees, which are a fraction of the non-resident rate, and can book resident camp rates that are typically thirty to fifty per cent lower.

Carry your national ID or your passport with the pass endorsement. Gate officials check, and a missing document at the Mara gate is an expensive mistake.
