Fifteen kilos, soft bags only, and the four things people always forget.

Internal flights to the Mara and Amboseli hold you to fifteen kilograms including hand luggage, in soft-sided bags. Hard suitcases will not fit in the pods.

Bring warm layers for dawn drives, a wide-brim hat, factor fifty, and a spare charging brick. Camps launder daily, so pack half of what you think.

The four most commonly forgotten items: binoculars, a dust blower for camera sensors, a copy of your travel insurance, and cash in small notes for gratuities.
